WSUS could not pushing the update the computer

Hi,

I've deployed WSUS 3.0 SP1 in a separate Windows Server 2003 and also I've set the Group Policy from Domain Controller through gpmc.msc and then I also created  a computer group (not OU) named "Itree" and move all detected machine to that group.

however, the update still doesn't seems to happen ?

and some PC just stuck (cannot be put into other group) in the "All Computers" group outside of the "Unassigned Computers" and "Itree" group ?

how can i make sure that the WSUS is performing the update for all detected computer ?

I need your help and suggestion please.

I had issues with my instance and ended up installing a recent patch to resolve issues with certain clients "resolve the issue in which clients are unable to synchronize updates from Windows Server Update Services 3.0 Service Pack 1". http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=6aa8a49d-170c-4077-8b9b-61f7bf5a1281&displaylang=en.

Yes,

all of the computer/server that is listed under those category has got "exclamation mark" (yellow triangle) next to it.

how can i make sure that the update is pushed correctly ?

I applied the update but nothing happens yet :-|

First I would wait until after the next scheduled install time. Also do you have the policy configured to: Configure Automatic Updates Enabled, Configure automatic updating: 4 - Auto download and schedule the install , and Scheduled install day:  0 - Every day? The exclamation means a positive Needed result as of the last time client computer made contact with the WSUS server, the update was determined to be compliant but has not been installed. Therefore, it is possible that any of the following could be true when the status for an update is Needed:
 

The update has been approved, but has not been downloaded or installed on the computer.


The update has been downloaded to the computer, but it has not been installed.


The update has already been downloaded and installed, but the client computer has not contacted the WSUS server since the update was installed.


The update has already been downloaded and installed, but the update requires that the client computer be restarted before changes go into effect, and the client computer has not yet been restarted.

Please rename it to .HTML

thisGPO is the first one to execute (Priority 1) while there are some other GPO that i configured to apply the Proxy setting but i didn't touch the Windows Updates section.
