we recently had a server crash.  before it crashed, we could access webamil via http://webmail.domain.com  after the crash, to get to webmail, we must use http://webmail.domain.com/exchange.

how do i get rid of the /exchange on OWA?

There are several methods... I prefer this method:  In IIS Management Console, find the file called IISstart.htm.  Right click on the entry and select properties.  Change the setting to "A redirection to a URL".  The full path in to http://webmail.domain.com/exchange/ .   Select both check boxes and say OK.

If you've deleted IISStart.htm you can create a blank file in the directory called default.htm and do the same thing.

Correcting my typo:
Enter the full path "http://webmail.domain.com/exchange/" into the Redirect to: field.

Also, IISstart.htm resides in c:\inetpub\wwwroot by default.
