What is the best way in creating a looping presentation?

Hello,

I have a family owned business that i was interested in showcasing our products and other helpful information in a looping presentation.  I wanted to have this show continually loop, or even have different clips/presentations automatically play.  My actual server with the presentation files on it is about 100ft away (in the office) from where i want my LCD monitor (at the front of the store).  Would i have to get a minipc and mount it near/behind the LCD or can i run a DVI or VGA cable without too much lag or loss of quality for 100ft?

What options to do i have to set up such a system?

Lag would definietely be an issue in this case...

Best option would be the pc closer to the monitor.

But there are of course options:

1) div repeater (http://www.gefen.com/kvm/dproduct.jsp?prod_id=2807)
2) kvm over ethernet (cheap version http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817402032)
or
3) Try a really long cable and see what happens. Make sure you buy good quality, however because the distance will indeed kill the signal...

BTW, be careful in what you name your questions as your question asks about quality loss over distance and your subject asks about creating a looping presentation which apparently you have already...
