sql server reporting services

I have question regarding sql server reporting services. My boss wants to web enable all our reports for clients over the web. is this the easiest route to go? there will be a ton of other reporting for admins as well. I want to dispaly web enabled reports for our existing website is this possible, or does it have to be logged into the sql server reporting login? i hope i am making sense.

Second question: can this be obtained through msdn subscription?

SQL Server Reporting Services comes with SQL Server 2005 and 2008 , and also the express versions (with Advanced services) for both of those.

Have a look at : http://www.microsoft.com/sql/prodinfo/features/compare-features.mspx  and for 2008 via http://www.microsoft.com/sqlserver/2008/en/us/default.aspx  (which does not present a comparision quite as well - ends up in a PDF)

You can also embed reports in your own website, or use Windows Sharepoint Services.

MSDN will be giving you your SQL Server, so, yes, you can get reporting servoices that way - if I remember properly, you do need to choose it when installing...
