Hello experts.
I'm trying to add a new Datasource in CF8 but i have the error:
Connection verification failed for data source: carfree24
java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC Driver]Error establishing socket to host and port: localhost:1433. Reason: Connection refused: connect
The root cause was that: java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC Driver]Error establishing socket to host and port: localhost:1433. Reason: Connection refused: connect

Also  TCP/IP is enabled and the port is 1433 but when i want to test the connection in cmd:
telnet localhost 1433 i get connection failed
(I have CF8 and MSSQL 2000)
Any help?

The solution is to update the MS SQL 2000 with sp4.
