Input Translation Question

I have 2 fields on a form:

Field 1  is called "Current"
Field 2 is called "Remove"

Both of these are multi value dialog lists

I need to create an input translation formula that will do the following:

If a value in "Remove" is not contained in "Current" then it will remove this value from "Remove"

I see that a listbox will do this automatically anyway, but I'd really like to keep this field as a dialog list.

I was thinking something along the lines of:

@if(!@ismember...
@replace...

but I can't get this to work.

Any ideas/suggestions greatly appreciated!

If a value in "Remove" is not contained in "Current" then it will remove this value from "Remove"

superfluous:= @Trim(@Replace(Remove; Current; ""));
reduced:= @Trim(@Replace(Remove; superfluous; ""));

Field Remove:= reduced

Something along these lines...
