Hello,

I'm trying to install ForeFront Client security but keep hitting the same issue;

all of the forefront services are installed on the SQL server bar, the Distribution service as this of course needs to bee installed on the same server as WSUS - in this case for me System Center Essentials.

The erroe I keep getting is;

"configures distribution server component" Status Error.

Hello,

I get the error while I'm in the "Microsoft ForeFront Client Security  Setup. The service that Im trying to install is the last option Distribution server (installs the client security update service).
On the Verifying Settings and Requirements screen all components pass successfully.
On the completing the setup wizard I receive an error next to configures destruction server components.

WSUS\System Center Essentials is fully synchronized with the Microsoft website and is pushing out updates fine.
