remote sync verizon wireless palm 700wx

I have a Palm Treo 700wx with unlimited data plan with tethered modem option. It will ActiveSync with my workstation fine. It will not sync via Verizon's WirelessSync / PC Monitor software. My perimeter firewall prevents me from downloading a dll during the PC Monitor setup process. My question is: Is there a different / better way to wireless synchronize my phone and my desktop. We have Outlook 2003 with Exchange 2003 and wireless push in Exchange is turned off. At this point in time, the security guidelines at the bank i work at do not permit Exchange push or downloading dll files (the file I can't get off VZ.
