how to pass user name and password to crystal reports

can I bypass the crystal enterprise login screen by passing the username and password through the url

I just tried adding in what you suggested into the URL and it didnt work. I noticed in your example you are linking to an rpt file. This is the ending part of the url to what I am linking to.  As you can see it is a .csp     Is there any way to pass the username and password in this example?

viewerlogonform.csp?id=20309&SF=%7BClinicianRecord%2EClinPayID%7D%3D38308&init=actx%3Aconnect

There should be.  I don't use that method so I am not sure what it would be.

CSP is just Crystal ASP

Let me re-iterate that I want to pass the Enterprise Login credentials, not the database UID and password.

Can the crystal enterprise login credentials be passed so login in crystal is not required?

You should be able to.  Since I haen't used CE I don't know how.

Here are some articles that may help.

One way to do it would be to use Windows Authentication so they use their Windows logon
