I'm having trouble synchronizing Exchange 2007 OAB on Outlook 2007 clients. I've resolved the problem with Outlook 2003 clients, but I get the following error on the server after updating the OAB:

OALGen will skip user entry 'Offline Address Book - /o=<org>/cn=addrlists/cn=oabs/cn=Default Offline Address List' in address list '\Global Address List' because the SMTP address 'Offline_Address_Book_-_/o=<org>/cn=addrlists/cn=oabs/cn=Default_@<org>' is invalid.

Also,It may to do with the OAB post full if diff fails reg key. It had already been entered and enabled on this server . One thing you can try  was to create a new offline address book, and this wouldnt rebuild itself until this key was removed. Remov it and it built straight away - problem solved

I am having the same error for 2 of my users. I have checked everything from these article:

- SMTP address is good, x400 too.
- Checked with ADSIedit tool the mail and proxyaddress attributes of these 2 users and everything s fine.
- Ran the OABinteg tool with proxytest and funny enough got no errors.
I am desperate to find a solution because most of us use Outlook in cached mode and therefore no one sees these 2 contacts in their GAL.
I think my last try will be to delete and re-create the concerned users. But they have huge mailboxes...
