I wonder in distribution agent profile, what can I do to optimize the agent to run better? I do have very often distribution slow due to very far replication between servers. as the screenshot attach I'm interested to know will these 2 setting able to maximize my distribution agent?

-CommitBatchSize has now values 5000 should I increase or decrease when I have slow replication performance? it says the number of transactions what is that means here?

-BcpBatchSize has default values 100000 I think this only useful when we have 100k rows to be replicate simultaneous

BcpBatchSize is only relevant for bcp operations on the source table and not regular update operations (insert / update / delete) so i don't know if that parameter will help you (unless you have many bcp operations)

CommitBatchSize - if you have a very busy environment, you might consider increasing the value of this parameter in order to reduce the overall number of commit operations, but i would not decrease this value unless you have a very few updates in the source envrionment
