Steps followed : I have took the latest code(java) from clearcase web access. Placed the files in eclipse workspace. In workspace,the java file having empty line spaces between code. I have removed the empty line spaces and checkin the files in clearcase.

Issues: All the lines of the file that checked in the clearcase are merged as single line.

Please let me know the configuration changes that required to solve this issue.

I think that might be the problem. Seems that your clearcase is using windows line endings and eclipse used unix-ones. Try setting it up explicitly in Eclipse to Windows.

Window->Preferences->General->Workspace
