SATA to SATA Y power splitter cable

Hi

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

We have just purchased a new Dell Optiplex 755.
The problem I have is I need to install an additional SATA HDD, however, there is no spare SATA power cable and there is no molex adapter to add another SATA power adapter

Does anyone know where I can get hold of  a SATA to SATA Y power splitter cable?

I'm sure there must be such a thing but so far I've been unable to find anything - any help appreciated ASAP please

For starters.

You could also try calling electronic surplus stores.

be careful that your power supply can handle the extra load; dell PS'es are not too oversized...
you can calculate  it here :  http://web.aanet.com.au/SnooP/psucalc.php

JohnnyCanuck, that's just the thing we need, don't suppose anyone knows of a UK supplier though?

Nobus, yes, I realise we need to keep an eye on power requirements but can't see it being an issue. Thanks
I googled around a bit but didn't see a UK distributor.  There is a form on the page to enquire about shipping.  If they send it UPS you will probably get it in no more than 2-3 days.

JohnnyCanuck, unfortunately when you add the item to the basket it takes you to the shopping cart page and there is a huge notice across the top of the page stating they do not ship to anywhere outside the USA or Canada

Considering the uptake on SATA I can't believe how difficult it's been to get hold of a simply power splitter. If anyone else has any links it'd be appreciated

f-king, I'd already looked at Maplins and from the link I could see the item I require is not listed. It looks like the only option left is going to be to cut off the SATA plug and add a molex then get a molex to 2 x SATA plugs which are plentiful although as it's a brand new PC I didn't really want to start chopping away at it
One other thing you might try is a different power supply, one with both power connections.
