unable to print a excel file

Hi Experts..!
                    i have a color printer HP deskjet (model: F4180). directly connected to my pc.
                   i m able to print other documants.but when i want to print a excel file. the printer dont
                    print this....but wen i print this excel file on a shared network printer that is a laserjet
                    it prints the file. how i can print this file on my  directly attached printer.

What happens when you attempt to print the Excel file?  Do you get an error or any messages?  More information would help in providing a solution.
