Hi there,

OS : Windows XP Pro
Software :  Excel 2007

I have a FX-1050 9-0pin printer and have to use it to print delivery list on carbon paper.
The printing is very slow.

How can I configure the printer (dip-switches) or windows (printers/options) to make it work faster?
Does changing the characterset to monospaced help?

Thanks,

On the front control panel there should be an option to print in draft more.  This will increase the speed at which the printer prints.  However, the quality will suffer.  You'll have to try it to evaluate where that makes a difference on not.. The only other thing to do is bet a faster printer.

Hi jhyiesla,

thanks for you help.
I was hoping to get any improvement over the print processor or dip switches.
