NetBIOS settings determined by my DHCP server

Under advanced TCP/IP settings on my XP pro clients it says that Netbios settings are set to "Standard"
which are (translated from Norwegian):
"Use netbios settings from DHCP server ......................... if your DHCP server does not offer settings, then netbios is activated over TCP/ip"

I have delved into my dhcp server on my 2003 domain controller, and can find no reference to netbios settings being offered to clients.

Where can I find this information on my domain controller?

These are specified in the DHCP options on the DHCP server. If I remember corectly they are options 44, 45, 46 and 47 in the Scope Options. You will need to set a combination of these for the DHCP server to send out the settings to the clients.
