I have a Dell Optiplex 330 on which I installed Office 2007 Professional. This has been working correctly for the past few weeks but as from today when 'Word' is started it opens up but hangs straight away not allowing the user to do anything other than 'end task' it.
The user says she hasn't installed or changed anything on the PC.
I have tried running an office repair but to no avail and also restored back to a previous state (2 weeks) but this also had no affect.
A reinstall of the Word or even the full office suite doesn't fix the issue either.
I have tried running the disk cleanup util and cleared any temp files but nothing fixes this problem.
Any ideas anyone? I can't find anything useful on the net. this is so frustrating!
