How I can debug a Web Application on a Weblogic remote server using Weblogic Workshop (Eclipse Based)?

I have two servers on the remote app server; the administration server and the target server where I'm deploying the application. I tried the "Debug As" option but the window opened in a different port.

Thanks.

Add this line near your memory arguements in setDomainEnv.cmd /setDomainEnv.sh

-Xdebug -Xnoagent -Djava.compiler=NONE -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=5005

This will open up 5005 port in the weblogic server for remote debugging. You can connect to this port from your eclipse.

Steps:
1. Add the above lines in the server which requires debugging.
2. Restart the servers.
3. Check if 5005 is available after restart. "netstat -a" would tell this.
