Hello,

We have two Win 2008 x64 servers, trying to implement DFSR over both boxes. Approx 5TB of data. The data had started to replicate, until yesterday when our switch went down. The switch is back up now, and the servers can see each other, but we are getting an error for DFS.

Error starts

Partner DNS address: SERVER1.CONTOSO.COM

Optional data if available:
Partner WINS Address: SERVER1Partner IP Address: 192.168.10.20

The service will retry the connection periodically.

You have a port blocked.  Check Windows Firewall service on the server.

Hello, i did check those, and DFSR was all opened, on both servers.
As it turns out, i don't know what solved this, but after rebooting both servers, and restarting both services, it kicked back in. I also upped the staging size, since i'm replicating very large folders (5TB+)

thanks
