Connection between Cisco Router and Switch

Hi,,

 I have connectic cisco 1841 router with cisco 2960 swich .
i f make port of as layer 3 port , what diffrence it will make
so on port i gave command as no switchport.

when your port is not switchport it will act as router's port (as if it is a single port within vlan with ip address applied to vlan).
This is a unique cisco feature, for other vendors you should use vlan with ip address bound to a single port.

So this switch will show mw all routes in switch , that are present in router.
Is there is any advantage of using , this, if any example that willl be grate

there is no much benefits. if you want to exchange routes between router and switch, you should launch routing protocols between them (like rip or ospf)

hm, but your switch is L2, so there is no routing protocols available.
so don't need no switchported interfaces on 2960
