Make a chkdsk of the partition where is installed your system (i.e. c:) with control for sefective disk

chkdsk c: /r

Program it to do at restart and reboot the computer.

Then, if no errors are showing, delete all the log files and reboot again to see if logs are correctly populated.

To delete logs: Right click on the log and empty. Not save logs.

Because lot of times there are errors on disk in files used by event viewer. Using chkdsk you fix them prior to clear logs.

Could you make a screen-shot of (faulty) Event Log properties and post it?
Thanks.
