Thanks...I re-downloaded it, then used the app's uninstaller...Then a restart...Then followed the advice from the 2nd comment...Seems to be 100% removed...<br />

I was told when I bought my iMac that all I had to to do to uninstall an app was drag and drop it into the trash...Obviously that doesn't remove &quot;everything&quot;!!! &nbsp;From now on, am I better off using an app's uninstall feature instead of dragging it straight into the trash???<br />

Usually deleting the app itself is all you need. The problem with Speed Download is that it is basically has to hack the system to work. <br />
