I installed then removed Speed Download by yazsoft from my iMac some time ago.  Yet, if I right click on any webpage, an option exists fro Speed Download with a further option to enable it.  I can't remember if I just dragged and dropped the app into the trash or used AppZapper.  Any suggestions on getting rid of the "remnants" of this program???  Thanks...

Re-download a copy of Speed Download. The downloaded copy should come with an uninstaller.

Thanks...I re-downloaded it, then used the app's uninstaller...Then a restart...Then followed the advice from the 2nd comment...Seems to be 100% removed...

JUST a follow-up statement, then question:

I was told when I bought my iMac that all I had to to do to uninstall an app was drag and drop it into the trash...Obviously that doesn't remove "everything"!!!  From now on, am I better off using an app's uninstall feature instead of dragging it straight into the trash???

Thanks Again!!!

Usually deleting the app itself is all you need. The problem with Speed Download is that it is basically has to hack the system to work.
