How would i configure port channel on a 3560 switch?  The two swithes are running layer 3 IOS.  I want to use 2 of the gig interfaces as port channels and use HSRP btwn them.

Thanks,

Switch #1:

interface Port-channel 1
switchport mode access no ip address snmp trap link-status!
!
interface GigabitEthernet0/1
 switchport mode access
 no ip address
 snmp trap link-status
 channel-group 1 mode desirable
!
interface GigabitEthernet0/2
 switchport mode access
 no ip address
 snmp trap link-status
 channel-group 1 mode desirable
!

Switch #2:
Copy from Switch #1.

You'll need IP addresses on the Vlan1 interface that are in the same network to allow management of the link.

NOTE:
This is a Layer 2 Port Channel.

Layer 3 Channel:
