Exchange 2007 Activesync problems.

When I´m trying to sync WM5 with server 2008 / Exchange 2007 I only get the owa light login screen on the mobile device, ideas?

If I try with a Symbian based devise it shows either communication errors or try again later.

There are a public cerificate on default wesite in IIS-7 and email.domain.com has a default.asp document that forward requests to /owa. The certicicate works fine from internet.
One port, 443, is opened in the firewall.

Sorry for the delay but Microsoft support has helped me and it took 3 weeks to solve the problem.
It helped to remove IIS-7, remove CAS role, delete all files under CAS, Inetpub and intersrv. Reinstall IIS and then CAS. Recreate all virtual directories.

What is the error when you click sync botton in activesync mobile?
Do you have cecked the IIS log?
Do you have cecked the exchange diagnostic logging?

OWA and Activesync are two different tools.

Yes I know very well what Activesync and OWA are. My problem is that when I try to sync a WM5 against Exchange 2007 I will only get the owa login screen on the WM5 device. I have read hundreds of document including yours and not found the solution.

I don't understand how to see the owa login screen in activesync...
For see the owa login you should open the web browser and not activesync software.
I'm sorry, but I don't understand that you see..

I do see owa login page from activesync, that is my problem. It says syncing folders for one or two seconds then it jumps to owa login page within the active sync application. And if I try to sync without SSL (after changes in IIS and EMC) I receive an 0x85010001 error.

Do you have reset this device with hard reset and reconfigured the exchange account?

check http redirect.  i had the same problem and the issue ended up being that I put a redirect on the default website and forgot to remove it and it added a redirect for all the subdirectories.

Well, I have also found that my redirect is part responcible for the problem. If I remove the rediorect however I still can't sync but with other errors, I'll asume that it's due to missmatch between .local and .domain (autodiscover, servername, public servername, certificates and so on). I'm going to try solving this tomorrow so please check in now and then to answer my stupid questions :-)
