Some users cannot delete email. Error Some items can't be deleted. They where either moved, already deleted, or access was denied

Hi

I recently had a clients site burn down. we recovered all there servers with no problems. the exchange database needed to be repaired, but then mounted with no errors.
Now, some users (6 users) can not delete emails. They can not delete them through OWA either. Not even Administrator can delete them.
I have check that the users have full mailbox access, check the advanced view permissions, and from what I can see all is correct.
Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be?

Hi,
maybe you could try to archive the users mails, and recreate the accounts.

The problem is to do with permissions on the account. When I add full mailbox access to the administrator on the mailboxes, some them let the admin delete emails, and some done.
I think what need to happen is a reset of the mailbox permissions, but do not know how to do that.

The deleted mails folder is emty? Can you delete mails from the deleted mails folder?

yes, I can delete email from the deleted items and the deleted items are empty, and the mailboxes are not full....
