VISTA INSTALLATION- Restarts and Freezes

Hello

Building a new computer, but cannot get windows vista to install for all the tea in China....

Get various issues initially started off freezing at various points, even got to where it was preparing to run windows for the first time then hung on completing installation...

Now seems to like restarting for no reason.

Getting a BSOD from time to time, STOP: 0x000000101

And the FreezEEEEE
Tired in various states, one stick of memory, different hard drive, no PCI express graphics card...
