Oscommerce Insert or update Categories or to delete Products or Categories absolutely nothing

Have been developing website for quite a while. At start of year I drop my xp laptop, managed to reinstall website on xp desktop.  Desktop died, have had to resinstall on new laptop running Vista Business.

if I try to insert or update Categories or to delete Products or Categories absolutely nothing happens: No Changes where made in the Database and no Error-Message is displayed. Everything else in the Shop seems ok

Running as localhost

Os: Vista buisness
Apache 2.0
Php 5.2.6
Server Administrator: admin@localhost
MySQL 5.0.67

I am get very frustrated tyring to get the website up and running under localhost

Can we see your SQL statements? Perhaps you are not correctly referencing rows to update/delete. And in the case of insert...? well, let's see your sql statements.

Don't believe it is sql based issue. Any sql is embedded under a lot of  PHP. If it was sql I would epect error messages

in php.ini   i have set  

register_long_arrays = On
