Visual Studio.net 2003 and Vista emulation

I am trying to create a small application for a PDA Mobile device.

I am using Vista and VS.net 2003 and visual basic.
VS.net 2003 is not supported by Vista, so I have had to install my old operating system XP Pro as a virtual machine.

My problem is that when  I try to run the application in debug mode using Pocket PC Emulator 2002, I get an error saying that

" Emulator for Windows CE wil not run within another copy of Emulator for Windows CE"
"You just had to try didn't you"

Any ideas on how I can overcome this problem?

Many thanks

The WindowsCE Emulator is actually a virtual machine, and it uses the same Virtual PC engine from Connectyx. Since its not possible to run a virtual machine within a virtual machine, you wont be able to develop for the CE emulator in a VPC image.
You might try opening your XP VPC image with VMWare's Player:

I have not tried it in this scenario, but its worth a shot.
