How to run DTSRUN remotely from other Machine

I have earlier on same server my application and MS SQL 2000 Server. Now I have switched my application to new server for load balancing.

On my Server where I have my application installed I also installed SQL 2005 for learning purpose but I still wish to use my MS SQL 2000 on old server.

Now in my application there are lot of .bat files which contain DTSRUN and OSQL which I want to run from my new Server but my database is on old Server. So I can not run these any more besides due to installation of SQL2005 I have dtstun and osql installed.

Can someone guide me how I can run DTSRUN and sql updates using osql when database is not on same server?

I can provide you script if desired.

Regards,

Nick

You can do this by executing the following code:
EXECUTE master.dbo.xp_cmdshell 'dtsrun /S (local) /U {uid} /P {password} /N {name dts package}'
Make sure you have enabled the cmdshell function in MS SQL 2005 Surface Area Configuration

Thanks. However when I connect to my SQL 2000 via SQL 2005 studio, my existing dts worked.
