I'm working on a WCF service .... it's effectively a create-read-update-delete service that exposes four databases. <br />

The service has around 80x functions and is published as a web service. Operations are much slower than executing locally. How can we improve performance?<br />

WCF performance troubles

C# is an object-oriented programming language created in conjunction with Microsoft’s .NET framework. Compilation is usually done into the Microsoft Intermediate Language (MSIL), which is then JIT-compiled to native code (and cached) during execution in the Common Language Runtime (CLR).
