iPhone stopped working after RPC setup

Title pretty much says all after i tried to setup a RPC so that i was able to connect my client computers with the exchange server 2003 extrenally.

I followed these instructions EXACTLY http://www.petri.co.il/configure_rpc_over_https_on_a_single_server.htm then BOOM iphones stopped syncing :( luckly i backed everything up before i attempted BUT how do i configure RPC without shutting down iphone sync. FYI i couldnt connect from outlook at a remote location. all of that work for NOTHING.

When you enable RPC.. do you recieve any error messages in the Event Viewer. Do you have any SSL enabled in your environment.

Refer to the below link to troubleshoot RPC issues.
