Ok, here is what we have

a exchange 03 server at corporate handling corporate email for domain1
a exchange 03 server in a colo handling email for a custom contact center for domain2

Can the server at the colo be setup also as a secondary server for the domain1?

my goal is to have 2 access points for domain1 without affecting domain2 mail.

i 'think' this can be done because when i run ESM i can drill down to

First Organization \ Administrative Groups \ First Administrative Group \ Servers \ Server1

so my assumption is once setup it would either be

First Organization \ Administrative Groups \ First Administrative Group \ Servers \ Server2
or
Second Organization \ Administrative Groups \ First Administrative Group \ Servers \ Server1

Mail can only be stored on one server.  The ability to replicate Mailboxes went away with Exchange 5.5.
