We implemented a BlackBerry Enterprise Server in July and things have gone fairly smoothly, with the exception of the executive assistant. She is equipped with a BlackBerry device (Curve 8310 -
provisioned through enterprise activation, not desktop software) in an Exchange 2003/Windows XP/Office 2003 environment.
She handles the scheduling and updating of our executive's meetings, and periodically receives the following error when trying to modify an appointment sent from her own mailbox: "The item could not be saved because it has been changed by another user or in another window." Office is fully patched (as referenced here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935411
) and RIM's support site only references an Office XP specific issue. She brought it to my attention today and I tried switching her to cached mode to see if that helps, but it's too soon to tell.
The best reference I've found thus far is this: http://www.blackberryforums.com/bes-admin-corner/120091-item-could-not-saved-because-has-been-changed.html
, which is similar, but deals with accepting meetings, not updating them.
Any feedback is appreciated.
