what is the difference between a Complete PC Backup done with vista ultimate and cloning the disk in Acronis True Image?
my computer runs vista ultimate and i can do a Complete PC Backup ... is there any additional security with a third party backup system like Acronis Ture Image? is there an difference in completeness if i do a Complete PC Backup with vista or if i clone the disk with Acronis?

my question about the difference between cloning a disk and imaging a disk was not addressed...
The differences are that the Acronis image is a lot more flexible, you can walk though the Image and copy out any single files you want using the acronis interface, with the windows Vista native backup utility this is very tricky. other than that they both work in much and much the same way, I find Acronis a little more reliable, When I was doing my MCTS in Vista half the class could not restore from the backed up media with in vista as the files had become corrupt or not backed up correctly in the fist place. This issue may have been fixed though. If you haven't bought Acronis it might be worth trying out the Vista backup, if you own acronis then use it.
