enabling  usb port  in VMware esx 3i

Hi all ,
             I have the VMware esx 3i serve installed on DEll poweredge 2950.

but i dont know how to enable the ubs port in that , Kinldy tell me step by step how to enable it.
 by default it is not detecting the usb port.,
the cdrom and floppy are detected by default
