This is a dell support item and can be uninstalled.

Assuming you are using XP,

Go to control panel and remove program Dell Support Center

If you do not want to remove it completely, remove it from startup using MSCONFIG

Start
Run
Type in MSCOFIG
remove check mark from dell support center

If you need to use it in the future, you can start the service.

Hi Hewittg,

Pls reply my last question above. Is it alright to delete the dell support centre software as I cannot find it in the msconfig.  Also by deleting the dell support centre software will it affect other program that share files?
Thank you.
