Find XP product key from Command Prompt

My PC stopped working so I decided to reinstall XP from my CD, only to later find that my sticker with the product key has been taken off my pc as I had my case changed. Is there any way I can resolve this? I have XP still existing on my pc (The one that stopped working) I have gone into repair existing version and can getr into command prompt (C:\WINDOWS) is there any way of getting my product key from here so I can use it in my new install, I know you can get it from the registry edit and that there are some programs which can get it from command prompt but seen as I cant get into windows I cant run anything. So, can anyone help, it would be mostly appreciated?

Kind Regards,

Also Magic Jelly Bean.  http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder.shtml and

If you put these on a flash drive or floppy perhaps you can run from there.
It is very difficult to get the Product Key from the registry in WinXP since it is encrypted.

Key-Reader will allow you to put the corrupted drive in another PC, or using a bootable CD such as a Bart CD, and read the key on a different drive. You simply point it to the appropriate drive and windows\system32  directory
