Exchange 2007

I'm using the Exchange 2007 Message tracking to track any emails. How longs does it kept and is there any way to extend the logs, (say 1 - 3 months) ?

I just went though this same thing setting up a 2008 server with 2007 exchange.  I found this article very useful in regards to the message tracking and I'm sure it'll explain it way better than i could.
