I'm working on a site that shares music by streaming mp3's. The files are located on a fileserver (HFS). The files a streamed through wimpyplayer www.wimpyplayer.com, by feeding the file url's. We are trying to make the files available for streaming only and not download. The problem is if the user types the url to an mp3 file directly into the browser, it becomes available for download. I've been trying different settings in HFS, but I can't seem to find any good solution. I guess there's no bulletproof solution for it, since the files are available for streaming, but is there any way that might make it harder for a user to perform a download of the files?
