HP Scanjet 5300c Drivers
Hi
I use an HP Scanjet 5300c, which works fine. I have been using VBA to operate the scanner semi-automatically, using the 2.5 version of the drivers and scanjet utilities, but I have had to upgrade these to work correctly with Windows XP SP2. The 'old' Scan utlitiy had a tick box that could be set during first use to remember many of the settings, thus avoiding the need to change these if the scanner were used in a particular way each time. The 'new' Scan utility does not have such a tick box and requires the imaging settings to be reset each time. I can't find a way of overriding this - does anyone know how I can do so?
Regards

Thanks for the input, but I can see the available drivers. The question is whether they can be configured. It may well be that the settings are in the registry, but I don't know where.
That's why I asked the question!

It will search for drivers and maybe find one that will give your scanner the desired functionality. However, your question seems to indicate more of a scanjet utility software issue rather than the driver itself. Anyway, it's worth a try.
It's possible that the settings you are wanting to set may be somewhere in the registry?
