How to activate alerm for incoming emails

Hi folks,

We are using Remedy for ticket logging and cheking for new Call. These calls are again redirected to our Outlook 2003/2007 profiles (Exchange 2003 mailboxes). Now the Question is CAN WE ACTIVATE ALERM FOR THE INCOMING EMAILS? WHENEVER ANY EMAIL WILL COME TO OUR MAILBOX, OUTLOOK SHOULD GENERATE AN ALERM SOUND..

Can anyone help me on this????

Hello anupam1983,

1) Turn off the caps lock, please.  It is considered "shouting" and thus is seen as rude.

2) In Outlook 2003...
Select Tools|Options from the menu
On Preferences, click Email Options
On Email Options, click Advanced Options
Check 'play sound' under 'when new items arrive

Regards,

Patrick

First of all, thanks a ton for your answer.
And second, I am really really sorry, I actually never knew that meaning or else I wouldn't have done that.
