The application worked perfectly on my laptop running Win XP not until it was deployed to Win2003 64 bit server that I started having this problem.

At first, I thought that it's probably because the development platform was different I therefore re-developed it on the server only for the problem to still remain

Please, ignore the question.

I finally found a solution to it by including ".*" in the MIME list of the virtual directory of the the application in the IIS.

Thanks all.
