Report Design MS Access 07

Im using access 07 and any alteration to the a report design is so slow.  The recordset behind the report is large so this could be causing this... what can i do to improves performance. it seems to be quering in the bacground????

This can be caused by very large datasets, but typically this occurs when you switch from Design to Preview.

You should turn OFF Track Name Autocorrect ... with larger databases this can be agonizingly slow. This is in the Access options setttings, blieve it's in the Current Database section. This is the most often reported cause of slowdowns in design view.

You should turn OFF SubDatasheets in your tables (i.e. set them to None). This is done in Design view of the Table.
