Users printers not autocreating in sessions. Some work others do not.

I am realtively new to this.  I "inherited" the responsiblity of managing most of our network issues.  I would call myself an "advanced novice".
My issue is that certain users printers are not auto creating.  They were and then just stopped.  Never had this issue before.  One of the interesting points about this is that it has happened to people with amost identical set ups, i.e. same OS and same printer.  But it happens to one and not the other.  For instance I have two users, both running Vista, one a laptop, the other a standard tower configuration.  Both are using Brother HL 20------ series printers attached via USB.  Pretty much out of the blue one day, the "tower" user couldn't print, as well as the laptop user.  However after reinstalling the printer on the laptop users PC, it has worked ever since.  But the other did not.  And still does not.
Another user that works from home has both an Epson inkjet and DOT matrix printer using XP PRO.  She has always been able to print from her Citrix session.  Now she can't, I've tried everything I know to do.  However, she has not issues here at the office.  Allbeit she's using different printers.
I should mention that for a long time I was getting a wfshell needed to close error everytime I logged on as the ADMIN to the Citrix server.  I have since resolved that by removing some "bad" HP drivers.  But to no avail, things still don't work properly or at all.
The key here is that I can't find a common thing between these users.  Myself, along with three others can not auto create printers anymore.  Interestingly though, the ones that can, their printers show up in the list of available printers and I can usually print to those.
I have racked my brain and been all over the net looking for the answer and no one seems to have it.  I've looked and troubleshooted things till I'm burnt out on it!

I know I don't have all the info you guys might need but I'm getting desperate here.  Citrix has been no help either.

Are you using the Citrix Universal Print Driver on your Citrix Boxes or Do you have the actual printer drivers installed?

Also What Version of Citrix are you running and O\S on Servers?

What Rollup Packs from Citrix do you have installed

Thanks for your reply.  Actually there are both drivers installed on that server.  Presentation Server 4.0 is the version I am using.  Server 2003.  I don't know about the Rollup Packs.  It's very odd that some can print and some can not.  Previously I could print to my personal HP Photosmart 8250 from my session and now I can't.  The driver was never installed for that printer on the Citrix server either.  So I assume that it was using the UPD, any way, It just "worked".  Now it doesn't.
Furthermore, the one user in the office that CAN print to her Brother HL-2140, prints fine, but it doesn't show as an "auto created client printer" in the list of printers on the Citrix server.  While others do.  There's one listed now that isn't even connected to the user laptop, but it says it's "ready".  I'm lost and frustrated.
How do I determine the Rollup Packs?

Any help that anyone could give to get me in the right direction will be much appreciated.
Thanks

In the Citrix Management Console right click on the server and choose properties it it the 1st option called Hotfixes and lists them in the right pane.

Also is there only 1 Citrix Server in the Farm?

Thanks again.  As vest I can tell, there are none.  See the "screen shot" that I uploaded.  There is only the one server in the farm.  it is used by about 20 people.  Between three and five on the outside and the rest here in the office.
Thoughts?
Thanks

I would install at least Rollup 3 from Citrix Downloads.  This Rollup fixed lots of Printing issues with PS 4.0

If you don't have access to it I can get you the file.

Is it available from the Citrix Site?  I don't have a whole lot of info on our standing with Citrix other than we don't have a tech support plan in place because it was just too expensive we felt.  Of course after all this, it might well have been worth it!  If that would fix this it would be great.

Will the install require the rebooting of the server?  If so, I'll have to wait until after hours.

Thanks

Yes it will require reboot.

You should just be able to setup an account for the downloads.  You don't need Tech Support in 10 yrs I have only used them 2 times.

We may already have one.  The guy that we used to use, I hate to say, wasn't much more knowledgeable than I am it seems.  But he may have set up an account.
Let me see if I can find out.  Just a minute here.....

There's a slim chance that you may get "blocked" or an attachment may get blocked.  Just let me know.  I really do appreciate your help. Argh!!!!!!!

I just checked to make sure the Symantec would allow it, and it should.  If it doesn't show up shortly I'll go check the quarantine file.
Thanks again,
