connectionstring for sql server 2008 please help

hi
i created a web app with sql server 2005 express edition
when i kept that for hosted the server has sql 2008 so it shows wrong connection string and that server owner is duffer he dont knwo anything , so please help me how can i connect to that server give me conncetion string please
