need eithernet controller driver for this unit

I re-imaged this pc with window xp pro and I resolved all the driver conflicts except for the ethernet controller.  I have looked on the sony site for this model and it does not seem to have this driver there.
this is what it says in the properties of the device manager:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_103D&SUBSYS_816A104D&REV_83\4&16793A72&0&40F0

This is the PRO/100 VE Network Connection according to the DEV umber you gave

Try this driver

If that doesn't work, have you installed the chipset driver for this computer.
