Cognos7 error log

Hi Folks,

My instance of cognos 7 is not able to see the drives from my sql server. I don't know cognos very well so I plan to give more details of this in another question once I can. For now all I want to ask does cognos 7 have a log in the application where it keeps errors?

Yes there are log files created.  since this is logged the the PowerPlay section I am assuming you are having trouble with a cube build.  
Default location of a Transformer PowerPlay cube build log file is in <install location>/Cognos/cerx/bin directory.   The default log file name is the <modelname>.log. This name is used if no log file name is specified in File -> Preferences -> Logging tab.
