Hello,

I would like my computers (Windows XP/Vista) to send an email to me when there is a power failure. They are each connected to a APC Backup-UPS ES550. My network infrastructure is on power backup (internet still active on power failure.

Do you have any idea the best way to accomplish this?

Thank you in advance,

Drew

Get the APC PowerChute business (A CD for the free version was included with the UPS) or the TrippLite PowerAlert (I think even the free edition can send e-mails, see http://www.tripplite.com/EN/support/PowerAlert/Downloads.cfm)
