I have asked a question pretaining to getting a system that allows exchange to send an email message to a phone system than the phone system read the text and makes a phone call to a number in the text and reads the text to the phone number. I was told to use asterisk and fesitival but was wondering if anyone knows of an example of this application being used in this context. Any help is appriecated

Although written for trixbox, reviewing the code will help you gain a footprint. What you're trying to accomplish will involve generally some scripting via AGI (to get and read the email), Festival (to turn text to sound), and the trigger to get the email... (whether this is a user calling to check or a cron job automatically checking a specified box).
