I have 2 HP LJ 4345 printers.

One prints any print job one page after the other continuously which is what I require (PrinterA).
The other prints about 5 pages and then pauses and prints the next 5 until the job finishes (Printer B).

All the settings for the printers are exactly the same. What could be causing this issue?

Check the hardware on the printers - does the one printing continuously have more memory than the one that's pausing?

Network printers?  Are you testing each from the same workstation?

Check the drivers for each printer, you may be on a different versions.  You could update the drivers for both the HP's universal print driver, sometimes that will resolve slow printing/pausing issues (and it also sometimes causes them).

Thanks for the accept, glad I could help.  Just curious since I tossed out more than one possible fix - what fixed it for you?

Thanks.
